| AMF's Management Team |
President & CEO
Drawing on two decades of business experience and training, Bob Mulcahy assumed the lead executive role in the launch of AMF Golf Management in 2004. Within six years, Mulcahy had directed the startup enterprise from its initial recruitment efforts to its current roster of 1,000 professional members.
Over that same period, Mulcahy assembled a specialized management group to run AMF and oversaw construction of a unique and powerful website—one that is backed by a human network of recognized and accomplished golf professionals. Fulfilling one of Mulcahy’s early mandates for the company, AMF has been a catalyst in the promotion of 100-plus Assistant Golf Professional members to the ranks of Head Professional or Director of Golf.
His experience as Senior Vice President for Nelligan Sports Marketing, where his primary responsibilities included evaluating new-business opportunities, have served Mulcahy well at AMF. His partnership-building skills have helped create important strategic alliances with more than 20 leading companies in the golf industry.
Mulcahy, who began his professional career as an Assistant Golf Professional to Bob Ross at Baltusrol Golf Club and Jerry Pittman at Seminole Golf Club, is also experienced on the “member side” of private golf operations. His service on boards of directors and golf committees at leading clubs has guided Mulcahy in the development and growth of AMF’s club consulting business. Since 2006, some 50 clubs have retained AMF Golf Management for assistance in operational evaluations and key-employee search and hiring.
Mulcahy's sales background includes eight years as an Account Executive for Slazenger Golf where he built a successful sales territory by more than doubling revenues while earning several regional and national sales awards. He is 1984 graduate of Spring Hill College and served on the Board of the Morris County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and is currently a board member for the Somerset Hills Little League.
